Aranga Firstman __ that's me __ began studying Reiki in 1992 and now a Reiki Master/Teacher. While versed in both Western and Japanese systems of Reiki, I favor the Japanese systems. I also holds a B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences and an Ed.D., Ph.D. in Education and am retired from the College of the Sequoias. I consider myself a Gardener of Reiki and continue to work towards its cultivation. Besides my involvement with Reiki Classes I also serves as an Energy Guide by hosting a monthly Energy Meditation Group called The Radish.
I am a member of the Three Rivers Sequoia Mountain Healers, a partners in wellness group which encourages and supports health and well-being within both the local and global communities. And I am a member of Shibumi International Reiki Association.
reiki lineage
Lineage is a way of showing how an individual's Reiki training has followed a particular path of teachers from the time of Mikao Usui. I have studied Reiki under three different lineage at the Reiki Master/Teacher level and am currently learning a fourth system.
