energy of art
I AM AN INNER-DIMENSIONAL ENERGY ARTIST. I paint in mixed media, acrylic, watercolor and collage. My interests in archetypes, auras, charkas, crystals, plants, earth, sky, poetry, spiritual growth and the inner child are reflected in my paintings.
When I paint, I prefer either a square or circular format because it more easily draws me inside the painting. Once inside, the painting paints itself. It chooses the COLORS and the forms. I have no idea of the whys and whats until the painting finishes. Eventually the painting will speak to me and I will write an appropriate poem.
PAINTING makes me feel peaceful, excited and in awe of the universe.
And the act of painting keeps me in the present moment. My favorite thing about my work is that I see something new in it every time I look at it. And everyone who views it sees something different, something meaningful to their own experiences. Nothing is static.
I have been actively painting since 1989 and have exhibited in a variety of solo as well as group shows in California. I am involved with art projects for children as well as for SENIORS. And occasionally I design and manage web sites for artists, artisans, and community groups.
ART AND BEING WITH LIFE
I am in the process of developing a project for helping stroke patients reconnect to their life and adapt to their new circumstances via art. I also use art in conjunction with my Energy Meditation Group, The Radish.ART WEB SITES OF INTEREST
